Sarge Posted January 16, 2007 Report Share Posted January 16, 2007 Texas Thunder Speedway welcomes two new class sponsors For immediate release Contact Pat Wilson 254-290-6262 pwilson1@hot.rr.com http://www.texasthunder.com By Bill “Sarge” Masom Killeen, Tx With a great 2006 racing season finished, 2007 is looking to be even better, as Pat Wilson, Promoter of Texas Thunder Speedway announces two new class sponsors, Cleo Bay Honda and Danny's Transmissions. “We are very excited to welcome both of these great companies to the existing family of sponsors at Texas Thunder Speedway”, said Wilson. “Terrific sponsors like we have are the life blood of racing, and we are very pleased to be teamed up with so many fantastic companies. Cleo Bay Honda will be the title sponsor for the Street Stocks. An always exciting, popular and very competitive class, the Cleo Bay Honda Street Stocks will be a main stay class at Texas Thunder Speedway. Danny's Transmissions is putting their name to the great I. M. C. A. Southern SportMods class this year. The Southern SportMods are starting their third year being sanctioned at Texas Thunder Speedway, and with the help of Danny's Transmissions, this is set to be a break out year for the class. Cleo Bay Honda and Danny's Transmissions join four other class sponsors for 2007. Dodge Country, the area's number one Dodge dealership, returns as the sponsor of the I. M. C. A. Modified class, the premier class at the ¼ dirt track. Corbin & Associates, a prestigious law firm, once again will be backing the I. M. C. A. Stock Cars. Budweiser Racing will return to back the Texas Twister class, and Cottman Transmissions will be the title sponsor of the new Teen Mini Stocks. Race night sponsors added to the mix this year included, Kwik Kar Oil & Lube, RSC, Cooper & Bright Plumbing, Bush's Chicken, Air & Armor, and ACE Hardware. Racing will commence March 10th and continue to September 29th. Gates open at 6:00 PM and racing starts at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $10 for Adults, $3 for kids 6-12 and kids under 6 are free. Season passes are available as well. New for fans this year is the ability to purchase their tickets online with a credit card. Just go to the Texas Thunder Speedway web site, and click on the “Buy and Print Tickets” button. Also you can use your Visa or Master Card in the tracks souvenir and concession stands.
