zoom Posted August 27, 2003 Report Share Posted August 27, 2003 Nick, do you have or do you know who has the straightaway lengths, turn lengths, banking, turn entry and exit points information on SAS? Is there any straightaway banking on SAS? this would be great to have to do some math exercises to check what comes out on paper with what actually works on the track. If I have a target RPM in mind for the end of the straight, and I know the rollout of my tires, if I then know the length of the straight, would I be able to get the gear ratio I need to run? What about other factors like how much speed am I carrying thru the turns and the exact distance to the point that I am letting up to set up for the turn. Pretty fun stuff to contemplate. I would imagine that the track manager has that information safely tucked away in file cabinet somewhere. Perhaps Mike could make that information available!
