Tim Bryant, ‘Brent’ and Ric Clark highlight final M-Zone Show

The final Motorsports Zone radio show (KVET-AM 1300, Austin) will be a special two-hour season-ending broadcast, airing on The Zone from 10 a.m. to noon Central time.

The show can be heard via audio stream at www.am1300thezone.com at the same time. Listeners are welcome to call in at 512.390. LIVE (5483) or e-mail the show at mzone1300@hotmail.com.

The Motorsports Zone show is hosted by Chuck Licata, who will be joined in-studio for the two-hour broadcast by special guest Ric Clark of San Antonio and regular co-host, “B.A.” of Austin.

Scheduled guests include Tim Bryant, the general manager of Five Flags Speedway (Pensacola, FL) – the track will host the 39th Annual Snowball Derby, one of the biggest off-season late model races in the world, Dec. 1-3. Events begin with the 102.7 WXBM POLE NIGHT on Friday, Dec. 1. Information about the Snowball Derby can be found at the track’s web site, http://www.fiveflagsspeedway.com.

The show’s NASCAR “insider,” Rob Moss of the #5 Busch Series race team, is scheduled to join the show. Plus, there will be a special visit with “Brent,” who is scheduled to host the ESPN’s NASCAR NEXTEL Cup coverage next year. He will join the show for the 10:50 a.m. (Central) segment.

Other guests were being pursued at the time of this media release.

“Once again, we can’t thank Program Director Trey Poston and the Zone crew enough for allowing us to host The Motorsports Zone show this year,” Licata stated. “It’s because of their efforts that we’ve been able to make a name for ourselves and The Zone in NASCAR as well as national, regional and local racing circles. We certainly appreciate all their efforts on our behalf.”
