638 cars at the imca nationals in Boone.thats without the sprints and late models.this is at a time of high fuel prices and tracks hurting with small car counts.the purses in all classes are not that great.so the racers are not there for the money.Chad Estes and J. Turner from Texas are in the big show already.would be neat to see a Texas track have this kind of show.the only thing really stricked are the rules.but something must be right for this to work year in and year out.frank t.
