kn1ghtblade
I am wondering if any of you know a trick to getting the lower control arm bushings out of a metric chassic control arm??? Also we have a 84 regal with a 10 bolt rear end, we cannot find any other numbers on this thing and we are trying to identify if its an 8.5 or a smaller 10 bolt... How can we do this? Thanks Randy
ps 72
The lower arms, use a press thats the best way. And for the rear end just meassure the ring gear.. itll be a 7.5 i think.

Truck99
Easiest way we've found is to burn the rubber out with a torch (doesn't take long). Once you're down to the outer shell only, use a recip. saw to split the shell lengthwise - be careful not to cut into the control arm. Once that slit is cut, the shell should fall right out.
