fullview Posted July 17, 2006 Report Share Posted July 17, 2006 Modified Slot Car Racing results at STS The Dirt Track JRMOD'S [*]1.Branson Pittman (Combat Body) [*]2.Dakota Heinaman(Bill Myers Repair #71) [*]3.Marcus Mikulencak(Ace Transmissions #L87) [*]4.Noah Van Blarcum(KO Graphx #15) Branson jumped out into the lead and set the pace for the rest of the field to play catchup.Dakota was the only one to really have a shot at stealing the win away with one session to go,but Branson was able to hold him off and take his first win of the season in what we call his combat body.Man that thing looked like it has seen it's better days of racing,but it got the job done. Young Guns [*]1.David Mikulencak(Goldberg #0) [*]2.Jerrod Grantz(C&M/KO Graphx #91) [*]3.Ricky Rogers (Bass Pro Shops #1) [*]4.JT Meyers (Bill Myers Repair #6) [*]5.Will Grantz (Subway/Van Blarcum Racing#37) David and Jerrod set the pace for this race with Jerrod taking the lead at the halfway point.Ricky had a terrrible start and fought to get back to the front but with no luck.JT and Will had a good race of their own but they to had some hard luck .After the halfway point David made his move and took the lead from Jerrod and never looked back to take the hardware for a second time this season.Congrats to the winners and thanks to the all the racers.See Y'all next week and remember to Keep it in the Groove!
