NickHolt Posted April 30, 2006 Report Share Posted April 30, 2006 For Immediate Release: - I-37 Speedway Racing at the Pleasanton Dirt Track Postponed --- by Bill Morris The threat of bad weather caused the cancellation of the weekly racing program at the I-37 Speedway. As a courtesy to fans and drivers who have to travel long distances, track officials opted to cancel this week’s racing program early on Saturday. As is often the case when planning events based on weather forecasts, the weather didn’t deliver as predicted so the track would have been ready to race. The other consideration when dealing with the weather is the number of fans that would decide to stay home and not come to the track. Weather permitting, the races will run again next Friday night starting at 8:00 pm. The I-37 speedway is located on I-37 at the 101 mile marker.
