If they get the new North-South thing at Nashville Fairgrounds going, that would be a good race. We've been to some of the All-American 400's there, the early years were the best. The Rattler at Opp, Alabama in March has drawn some good cars, but usually no more than 20-25. But you ain't seen racing unless you've gotten to see Ronnie Sanders go around that place. These come to mind quickly- There are others, but they get to be more than a few miles away. Birmingham in February, etc. To defend "a few miles away", I consider anything within 800 miles or so to be close by. The World Cup at I-70 attracted some good names last year as the purse increased, but it falls on the same weekend of October Fast. What about the Texas Big Shot at San Antonio Speedway?
