JRA Kids Club Announce 2006 Bike Races

Race teams around Texas are feverishly preparing for the season opening event April 15, 2006 at Thunder Hill Raceway (Kyle, TX). At the same time the Junior Racers Association (JRA) Kids Club is completing plans for its Bike Race Series at THR.

This 2006 season will feature four (4) bike races for children ages 4-13 years. JRA members will be allowed on the racing surface during the following race nights at THR: May 27, July 15, July 22 and Sept. 2, which is the final race that falls during Labor Day festivities.

All of the kids will be completing head-to-head in five age groups for the famous “Hardware” provided by Checkered Flag Racing & Sports Collectibles (San Antonio, TX). All JRA Kids Club members will walk away with a participation award with each first-place winner taking home a trophy.

“I'd like to thank Mary Ann (Naumann) and Brian (Callaway) for continuing to put the kids first!” stated Aaron Brungot, founder of JRA Kids Club. “Plans for the 2006 racing season are coming along great. We have been working closely with the management at THR as well as the leadership at River City Quarter Midgets. When we look back at the end of the year, we're certain we'll be able to enjoy great successes of this season.”

The JRA Kids Club is based out of Thunder Hill Raceway, in Kyle TX. Members aged 4-13 years old get opportunities like no others in Central Texas. Kids enjoy events from meeting up-and-coming racing stars to camping over night in the infield at Thunder Hill Raceway.
