JRA and K-MAC Sports announce partnership for 2006 season

 

One group is growing through the promotion of racing to the younger generation. Another group is growing through its broadcasts of auto racing and high school athletics and the promotion of the student-athletes and racers themselves.

 

Now, the two groups will combine their efforts.

 

The Junior Racers of America (JRA) Kids Club and K-MAC Sports Productions of Austin announced a partnership of sorts for the 2006 race season.

 

“We both are working for the good of kids, and promoting kids,” said K-MAC Partner/Business Manager Chuck Licata. “Aaron Brungot (founder of JRA) has done a remarkable job with the kids' club even though it’s only entering its second season. He's hooked JRA up with River City Quarter Midgets (RCQMA), he's taken the club's sponsorship to high levels and he's garnered a lot of attention for the club. Now, we hope we can help support his efforts through the things we do, including our upcoming broadcasts of the Texas Super Racing Series (TSRS).”

 

“Any time we can promote kids, it's a good thing,” added K-MAC Partner/Technical Director Kevin McAdams. “K-MAC Sports was founded on the premise to help promote student-athletes in local high schools and bringing on JRA gives us the opportunity to help promote the sport of racing with younger children. We're already promoting each other on our web sites (www.JRAkidsclub.com, www.kmacsports.com and www.themotorsportszone.com), and that's just the start of what we'll do together in 2006.”

 

“JRA was founded on the premise that the kids will always come first,” commented Brungot. “This year we are working on creating partnerships with businesses and organizations that share that same vision. We are very fortunate to have Licata and McAdams in our corner!”

 

Brungot has already made one appearance on The Motorsports Zone radio show and will be on a few more times this year. The Motorsports Zone is broadcast each Saturday morning on KVET-AM 1300 at 10 a.m. CT and is hosted by Chuck Licata, along with Ric Clark.
