Licata Back To Announce For Texas Super Racing Series in 2006

By: Pat Mayberry

Texas Super Racing Series Founder and Owner, Mary Ann Naumann, announced

this afternoon that future Texas Sports Hall of Fame announcer, Chuck

Licata, will be returning to the Texas Super Racing Series, Late Model

Touring Series, in 2006. Licata returned to the series last year after a

brief departure to launch his promotion company, K-MAC Sports Productions,

along with Kevin McAdams, who serves as partner and technical director.

"I am so excited with the return of Chuck Licata as our series announcer

again for 06. He has proven to be one of the most exciting announcers that

I have had the pleasure to work with and as one of the owners of THR to have

him join us back at the track is icing on the cake."

Licata is certainly no stranger to Central Texas race fans. Licata and

co-host, Ric Clark, are also the voices of the popular KVET 1300 AM radio

show, The Motorsports Zone, airing Saturday mornings from 10-11 AM (CST).

Licata will be live and in the stands with the fans when the Texas Super

Racing Series - Late Models kick off their fourth season on March 18th at

Houston Motorsports Park.
