Yes, Bryan, Houston Motor Speedway will have the track open on Friday, July 25th, 4:00 PM till dark. $50.00 per car. This is offered to TSRS by HMS. Tech will not be open, nor will there be any TSRS Officials there until Saturday. Saturday the Pit Gate will open @ 2:00 PM. Track will be available to TSRS from 2:30-4:00. TSRS will pit in the pit parking area during the day and thru qualifying, then move to pit road just before intermission. TSRS will qualify and roll the dice for the lineup. (there will NOT be a Pit Stop-Tire Changing Competition for this event). Tires that you qualify on, are the tires you must start the race on. Qualifying begins @ 6:00 PM with TSRS first! We will be the last race of the evening. Races start @ 7:00 PM. A mail-out is going out tomorrow, with additional information, a tentative schedule and a poster to each registered driver of TSRS. Entry Forms went out on June 27th, if you did not receive one, please let me know. Hope to see you all at the Open Meeting & BBQ @ THR on July 17th, lets show our support. Thanks! Guest Mary Ann Naumann Posted July 15, 2003 Report Share Posted July 15, 2003 TSRS Drivers, we mailed out an information sheet about the TSRS Houston event. It says HMS track is available from 4:00 until dark on Friday, July 25th , just wanted to let you know that you can get there as early as 2:00 PM! It is only 50.00 per car. Also, you may stay with your rigs overnight in the pit area both nights. Houston Motor Speedway is great about helping the racers save $$$$$ on over night expenses.
