I know Jason Smith and Scott Jerkins both got together on the front row, but who didn't give the other room or was someone bumped from the back? Margaritaville Posted July 2, 2003 Report Share Posted July 2, 2003 Scott got loose and with the field being packed together so tight when he turned sideways it took almost everyone out. It did not appear that Scott and Jason got together. I will say that Jason’s crew did one hell of an attempt at getting the car back on the track! They taped his body and windshield back on and sent him out, but it flew off on the backstretch and caused another yellow. He came back out, but was black-flagged because of the danger of his hood/roof flying back off and into the stands.
