Crewcheif21,73
Well it didnt go so well. started out strong then started to fall back think maybe it was floating valves just gonna have to do some work. Will be pretty up set if the valve springs are crap cause mission built them heads and it cost a good chunk of change to have them done.
poorboy
I wouldn't go blaming Mission right now, I beleive the last race it was bad fuel. The same fuel I was running.
j.j.&s.racing
ya i could be valve settings, timing, to lean [pre detation] or you just got them so hot one of the springs broke or calapsed.
MadRacing19
I agree with Poorboy!!!! Don't blame the machine shop . Gonna be hard to go face the guy to freshen your motor if you throwing the blame on him here !!!!Seems if you had Dist. gear issues maybe you got in a rush and did not get the timing set right ??? Crewcheif21,73
not blaming no one just saying we spent alot of money having Danny build them heads besides i myself dont think thats it. I think poorboy is right.
The Shrimp
Sure sounded like you were blaming Mission to me. Hell when did they build the heads the day before the race. If not then Mission isn't to blame. Damn it would be hell if Danny read that and took it the way we did, your price to have them repaired might just double. Crewcheif21,73
Something very dumb. The to screws in the rotor backed out. Owell the only reason i said valves was cause thats what i had heard. I didnt go to the race so i wasnt sure what was going on just from what i was told. I wasnt dogging Danny he can build some badass motors and heads. So dont go stirring crap that isnt there.
