    We are looking into to a possible practice Thursday night. We will post it officially Monday or Tuesday. Friday night practice will be impossible this weekend due to track prep that will be required to get the track ready for two full nights of racing with Sunday having the ASCS sprint cats

    We will be have a rules meeting this Wednesday October 17 @ 7 pm at South Texas Speedway Turn 5. We will be discussing the 2013 rule changes. Please attend if you plan on running this class next year. The rules will be posted as soon as they are finalized.

    I heard about a guy that had a small nitrous bottle in the drivers compartment and had a 20 HP jet in the air cleaner box but before he got to use it the nozzle came lose and feel into the carb and blew the motor.

    The Sprint cars were awesome...But the Limiteds starting 28 cars and only 4 dropping out that goes to show that there are some pretty amazing drivers in South Texas.

    Johnny White at CCS jumping turn 1 wall clip a light pole and almost land completely on a trailer in the pits.

    The class is NOT going that out of hand. The track and racers got to together to create this class because of the high cost of the sportmod class. This class is built for the low budget racers that want to run a sportmod. The class is only a couple months old and there are at least 10 cars being built.
