racer61
A friend of mine asked about Jr. dragsters for his kid. I believe she is 7. Anyone know what the going rate is on one of these? I dont have any idea of where to look. Cory

KISS_Racing
COry, Greg Hubell would be another good person to talk to. I will call Freddy later today to see if he knows of any for sale... That is one competative class... You can spend some serious money on one of those! Mark

racer61
Thanks Josh and Protree, My problem is he knows less than me and I dont know anything about 'em. I looked several up on Ebay and racing junk but they seem to very usually by motor. I watched the class last sat. at SAS and was suprised how fast they go. But i heard some rumors of what motors run. I know he is looking for a very basic entry class car. Not sure he's prepared to spend more on a suped up lawn mower engine than he spent on his new john deer mower. lol
ProTree
beginners are 8-9 yr old and restricted to 12.90 sec or slower in the 1/8th mile.if a competitor runs 12.50 they can be dq'd from an event.the 12.90 motors are less expensive than the advanced(age 10-17 and 8.90 and slower) and master class motors(age 12-17 with an et limit of 7.90 and max speed of 85mph)
