Be flexible. Be ready to take both your 2 laps. Cars must align for Time Trials as listed above. Drivers must have working scanner 154.570 on at all times, on track. Cars missing this qualifying order line, may opt to re-align at rear and receive one timed lap. For time trial purposes only, TPS cars may go directly on track from the pits and not use turn # 1 & 2 apron. After departing pits, cars should gain full speed quickly. All cars will receive green flag first time at S/F line. Cars should exit track as-soon-as possible from Turn #4, drive slowly to end of pit road, left to TPS scales. Drivers must be alert as to whether or not they are impounded for inspection. Do not break out of impound. Qual Rule: Failure to exit track after one cool off lap (unless instructed) will result in both laps DQed. The Feature Race grid limit for this race is 24 cars. The following qualifying rules will be in effect: In the event of a clock failure or negative track conditions, a Qualifying re-run may be opted by TPS Officials. If there is a tie in times of best lap, ties will be broken by 2006 TPS point standings and then by entry date. For cars behind the fastest 22, Positions 23 & 24 go to highest from 2006 TPS point standings, who can run. If Time Trials not held or not completed, the first 22 cars on feature race grid is set by order of entry postmark. No inversion draw. The grid will be heads up - first 22 cars. If less than 22 post times, entry order will grid remainder. Per TPS rules, no top-off after time trials. For TPS cars after the 25 lap Race - 21 lbs or 3 gallons top off. The SAS scoreboard and PA announcements regarding TPS performance are not considered official by TPS. TPS @ SAS time trial record is 21.910 set by #1 Bryce Dishman, Ford Mustang-svo, on March 11, 2006. The fastest time bettering the existing TPS record will earn 3 bonus points. Fastest non-record earns 1 point. Minors Information: Minor Ages 2-12 Pit Admission - $20 - Minors will be allowed in pit area. Both parents (guardians) will need to sign a Minor Release Form for minors (ages 17 and under) in the presence of SAS staff. If both parents cannot sign the form at the track, it may be signed and notorized in advance. Pit pass price for all persons over 12 years is $30. HiTech Posted March 1, 2007 Report Share Posted March 1, 2007 neil kinda threw a motor togetther for 84 he is suppose to bring that car to cc friday and i will help him get it in the car and see if we can fire it up and get in the race .only thing is it does not look like he will get much practice saterday 10 minutes .isnt much but what can you do .i havent even met this young man in person .but i will help him ..maybe if we are lucky he maybe able toget out there friday night for practice . kinda funny im going to help him friday on my 51st birthday .so ill give myself a present to him.lol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
