The racing action was as intense as the night before and was another photo finish at the checkered flag. Tonight it was between Scott Drake, Eddie martin and Johnny Bone with Eddie Martin picking up the win by inches over Johnny Bone. Jason Hughes started the race from the outside pole and led the first three laps over Randy Zimmerman before Eddie Martin came from the sixth starting spot and went by Hughes. Martin would have some heated battles with Hughes, Drake and Bone over the next thirty laps. Hughes and Bone would get together late in the race in a racing accident and Hughes would slide off the back of the track and would have to settle with a seventh place finish. Rounding out the top five was Steve Kosiski and Skeet Amason. The A-main and two 22 car B-mains would run with only a total of two cautions flags. Racing action will continue Saturday night with the final night of racing action at the Rio Grande Speedway in McAllen, TX.
