Shown below is the Thunderhill Raceway (Kyle, TX) detailed Schedule of Events this upcoming weekend – Friday, May 20, and A-Line Night at the Races on Saturday, May 21, 2011. Also shown below for your posting and distribution is a flyer showing highlights of this weekend’s events.

 

• The race weekend will start off with a NASCAR Day with a Car Wash for Kids to benefit The NASCAR Foundation and Hope & Love 4 Kids. It will be held on Friday, May 20, from 12P (noon) until 6P. See the following link for more information: Car Wash

 

• The Friday night (May 20) Open Test-n-Tune will be held from 6P-11P (note change in time due to Car Wash). We’ll also be offering our Friday Steak Night Dinner (more information to follow).

 

• The Pit/Garage gate will open at 11A on Saturday (May 21). Breakfast tacos will be available for purchase (more information to follow). The Organized Test-n-Tune sessions will start at 11:45A on Saturday. The Front (Grandstand) Gate will open at 4P.

 

• All drivers in divisions that use radios will need to bring your spotters with you to the drivers’ meetings! We will also be requesting your radio frequencies when you sign in at the Garage Office.

 

• Qualifying for the NASCAR A-Line Modifieds and the Grand Stocks will start at 4:45P on Saturday.

 

• A mandatory Meet the Drivers session, including autographs for the fans, is scheduled for 5:15P on Saturday on the front straightaway.

 

• Opening ceremonies are scheduled for 6P on Saturday, followed by heat races by the Dwarf Cars and the NASCAR Trucks (featured division) and main events for all divisions. Also on the agenda are Kids’ School Bus Rides at the end of the night.

 

Overnight camping throughout the weekend is encouraged and is FREE!
