debwill Posted April 18, 2011 Report Share Posted April 18, 2011 Shown below is the detailed Thunderhill Raceway (THR) Schedule of Events for this Friday-Sunday, April 22-24. Friday’s Open Test-n-Tune (April 22) is scheduled for 4:00P-10:00P. Grandstand admission is free for the Open Test-n-Tune. Cheryl Bailey will also be hosting Friday Steak Night from 7:30P-10:00P (see THR website for more information). If you’re not planning to practice on Friday night, we need cars to display at an Easter Egg Hunt at The Java Cup in Kyle from 5P-10P. Let me know if you can help out by showing your car. The Connection Church will be hosting its annual Big Hunt, from 10:30A-12:30P on Saturday (April 23)– in the THR parking lot. It is open to the public, so please invite your families. We need to display some race cars during this event, so please let me know if you’re interested in showing your car. The back gate (Garage/Pit Area) will open at 11:00A on Saturday, and the front (grandstand) gates will open at 4:00P. The Organized Test-n-Tune sessions will start at 11:45A on Saturday. Qualifying for the Sport Mods, NASCAR A-Line Super Stocks and NASCAR TSRS Late Models will start at 4:45P on Saturday. A mandatory Meet the Drivers session, including autographs for the fans, is scheduled for 5:15P on Saturday on the front straightaway. Opening ceremonies are scheduled for 6P on Saturday, followed by heat races by the Thunder Stocks (featured division) and nine main events for all divisions. Also on the agenda are an EASTER EGG HUNT and KIDS’ SCHOOL BUS RIDES. Our Track Chaplain, Cameron Moore, will be conducting an Easter service on Sunday morning (April 24) at 11:00A under the big tent in the Midway area, weather permitting. Overnight camping throughout the weekend is encouraged and is FREE!
