NickHolt Posted August 31, 2017 Report Share Posted August 31, 2017 As everyone is aware Hurricane Harvey has had devastating and far reaching consequences unleashing a terrible toll on the Great State of Texas. South Texas Speedway has sustained some wind damage from the storms passing on Friday night to some of the facility lights as well as the turn 3 catch fence. We will begin working to repair the aftermath of the storm here at the track but we will be forced to cancel the upcoming Labor Day Weekend Doubleheader scheduled for this Friday and Saturday September 1st and 2nd. At this time please keep our friends in Port Aransas, Rockport, Houston and all the places that this storm has affected in your thoughts and prayers.
