Race #2 Format

Pay your normal pit gate entry for drivers at STS ($40) No Track Registration for this weekend both Saturday and Sunday.

 

Series Registration and Draw starts at 4:30pm til 6pm inside Turn 5 Bar.

One Time Series Registration is $40. You will be eligible to race and receive all bonus money/prizes.

 

Race Entry Fee $20 at time of draw. All drivers will draw for their heat race starting position. Drivers meeting will be at 6pm held in Turn5 Bar be prompt.

 

All heat races will be 10 laps. Top 3 drivers from each heat race will advance to the A Feature.

All heat race winners will return after the heat races to each run (2) timed hot laps with the driver turning the fastest lap winning a bonus of $100.

 

All heat race qualifiers will be lined up using their point average. Lowest point average on pole. Any driver that qualifys and does not have a point average will start behind the heat race qualifiers with a point average.

 

B Mains will be 12 laps. We will split all remaining drivers that have not qualified into (2) B Mains.

The top 5 drivers in B Main #1 and the top 4 drivers in B Main #2 will advance to the A feature.

 

This will complete all 24 starting positions. Any drivers still not qualified may purchase ($150) a starting provisional and start behind all the qualified drivers.

 

A feature will be 25 laps. All drivers must hold their starting positions until coming out of turn 2. This will apply to all complete restarts until first lap is completed. This is for Feature only. In other words no 3 wide racing on lap 1 going into turn 1 until we have a completed first lap.

 

Flagman will start all races with green light and green flag.

 

Leader will always set the pace in all races. Leader will start all restarts coming out of turn 4. If he fails to takeoff coming out of turn 4 then the flagman will start it.

 

All heat race and B Mains will be single file restarts nose to tail. A Feature will attempt 2 double file restarts. Any restarts after that will all be single file with the orange cone coming out of turn 4. Cars can not pass until they have reached the cone or once the cone has started getting pulled off the track. We will allow for room in the event a driver has trouble while approaching the cone to still pass safely.

Swenson Racing Components will have his parts trailer on hand for tires and parts only.
