Sept 6 Friday - Pit opens NOON, Optional TPS practice - 2:15-2:25pm, 4:25-4:35pm ($30 pits - 2 day pit pass=$50)

 

SEPT 7 - 11:00am - Pit Gate Opens - TPS cars must pit in assigned TPS area. Pit fire extinguisher at trailer is required.

SATURDAY - Note: TPS participants must sign correct TPS pit clipboard and wear correct wrist band at SAS (please tell your family)

 

1:00 -Deadline for one (1) gate bonus point - NOTE: All enclosed haulers must be removed from pits by1:00pm

1:00 - TPS PRACTICE-Two sessions-1:00-1:15pm & 2:55-3:05pm. (Practice mandatory or start race at rear)

4:00 - TPS Drivers Meeting (non-attendance or no practice receives rear race grid penalty)

5:00 - SAS Drivers Meeting (attendance is mandatory) Note: TPS Drivers and Crew Chiefs must attend.

6:00 - TPS QUALIFYING TIME TRIALS (electronic) - 2 Laps - Qual line inverted by 2013 points. Note: 2 points for new TPS record. NOTE - If time trials not held or completed, Feature Race will grid by current 2013 TPS points before Sept 7th, then order of paid entry.

7:00 - SAS Feature Race Order: Grand Stock, TPS, TALMS, Charger, Modifieds, Street Stocks, Trucks, Pro LM's

 

7:20 - TPS FEATURE - 20 Laps heads-up by best qual time - NO GRID LIMIT, dnt's at rear by current 2013 points before September 7th.

 

7:45 - TPS Post Race Inspection (weight, carburetor check, random P&G) Trophy presented to TPS Feature Winner

IF POSTPONED - Per TPS-SAS agreement, if necessary, a makeup date at SAS will be negotiated and announced on following week. For weather info call TPS Race Director David Mackey cell 512/913-9364 or office 512/280-4869

 

TPS ENTRY FEE - $60 - per car if paid two weeks in advance by roll over/mail/check and completed entry form. NOTE: Entry fee refunded (less $10) until car passes thru Pit Gate. All TPS must sign TPS or Minors clipboard.

LATE ENTRY - $70 - per car if paid late at track in pits (late $10 deposited into TPS Treasury).

SAS PIT PASS - $30 - Friday, $30-Saturday or $50 both days - Rain checks good on rain date. Under 18 parental release

GRANDSTAND Friday - $15 - per person adult, Military & Seniors two days = $20, Children 6-12 = $5, Children 5 & under FREE

GRANDSTAND Saturday - $20 - per person adult, Military & Seniors = $15, Children 6-12 = $5, Children 5 & under FREE

 

SPECIFICATIONS - TPS 2013 Rules & Specifications (Note: Windshields and rear windows required or be issued a large and increasing weight penalty) Each driver must receive scanner on 154.570 MHz when on track.

 

SAS SCORING -Manual race scoring at SAS. Roof numbers must be legible and must face Press Box or car isn't scored. (Transponders not used at SAS).

 

INVITED CARS - 2013 CTS & CCS Mini Stocks accepted if in compliance with their rules and weigh by TPS rules. Following upgrades are OK: CCS & CTS cars may use: TPS 13” Hoosier Racing Tires, may use after-market

suspension parts, lock drive wheels, may not have external nerf bars, must use rear view mirror & windshield.

 

TPS MEMBERSHIP - All drivers required to hold valid 2013 Texas Pro Sedans membership to drive on track. One race TPS memberships are available for $25. Car number priority goes to TPS full season $75 members.

 

PURSE - Tentative distribution: 1st-500, 2nd-325, 3rd-250, 4th-225, 5th-200, 6th-175, 7th-150, 8th-125, 9th-120, 10th-115, 11th-110, 12th-105, 13th-100, 14th-100, 15th-100, 16th-60, 17th-60, 18th-60, 19th-60, 20th-60 = $3,000 (tentative total)

 

PURSE - to aid TPS purse, SAS will pay $100 for each TPS car passing thru the SAS pit gate. TPS Officials will be paid from appropriate entry fee deduction. Remaining TPS, SAS & Sponsors funds will make the Purse. Feature Pay Off next week by U.S. Mail.

 

TROPHY - A Trophy for the TPS Feature Race Winner will be presented by San Antonio Speedway

 

POINTS - Points awarded per TPS Rules - 2 points fastest new record time (due to partial repaving of SAS).

 

INSURANCE -Coverage limits provided to TPS by Unique Track Solutions LLC partner Brian Bohlen, Aug 20, 2013: Updated Coverage Limits - Participant Accident Insurance - $1,000,000, Accidental death - $10,000, Additional Medical - $10,000.
