different height spindles necessary?

Are different height spindles necessary with a 7.5" pan wetsump (11.5-12" crank height)?

I want my dynamic mc to be 0-7" to the right but dont want to run 1" longer studs.

Trying to get stuff ordered and have the RIGHT pieces when its all said and done! lol

I have 9-10 degrees on the rf upper. If I wanted a rollcenter that ended up 0-7" right does that mean I need more initial angle in the right vs. left?

Sorry if the wording is confusing. I can provide more info if need be.

Font roll centers are determined by the angles of your a-arms. You can change the angles of your a-arms in any number of ways including using different height ball joints.

Of course, there are several other ways to change the a-arm angles including changing the ride height, remounting the a-arms and using a different height spindle.

If you are concerned about the lateral position of the FRC, you might be better off paying attention to the height of the roll axis in relation to the center of gravity height. The moment arm formed by that distance plays a huge role in how the weight transfer is felt at the tire contact patch on the RF tire. Same applies at the rear since the imaginary line drawn between the front roll center and the rear roll center defines the roll axis.

There has been a great deal of attention paid to the horizontal positioning of the front roll center in some popular suspension engineering circle. However, I have found that getting LF camber curve right is far more important than the horizontal position of the front roll center.

Just my two cents.
