dancer52 Posted October 10, 2011 Report Share Posted October 10, 2011 I have seen the goodyears run on dirt...they work pretty good (the 970 SUCK) they can run as low as 10 psi....no problem seperating that I have seen...not near as much heat build up on dirt....the track wont stay wet for long...really depends on how wet they make it....but...I doubt it will matter much. As far as running what tire you want....just do it....I have seen ALOT of pure stocks running the hoosier 500 tire...but their rule says g60....just go to the race and have fun....dont worry about the few who are to scared to run against competition....you should see how much they complain about me....lol...its just part of racing...racers are never happy...lol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

So dont get me started on thr. How bout you just call jim and find out what he says. And johnny your right no one wants to be at a disadvantage and adding weight would be the thing to do.
