Jamie
Are these Raceceivers? If not, are they compatible? I'm sure a few already have the Raceveivers is why I am asking. None-the-less, I applaud the track for going in this direction!
JohnnyT66
Alot of us already have raceceivers...they are $104.99 and very compact

supertune
Why not use raceceiver cheaper and what most other tracks use.
nick911
Good idea. A few questions.... what frequency range are these units? Can I use my scanner instead? Will the track be providing equipment for fire and ems? Who is gonna be in my ear?
gone with the win
After doing some research, its the same technology as raceceivers. so as long as you have the frequencies both products would work.
doitinthedirt
Not to bitch>>> great move we argree , but we don't the funds for two sets which we will need being that we are running two cars. does that mean you will not allow us to race??? a little more notice would of helped.. don't disagree they will help alot, but money is so tight right now don't know if we can squeez it in.. Well not sure if both cars are in the same class but if you in different classes just get an extra set of ear buds and share the scanner/raceiver. You might also try pawn shops as they seem to collect scanners from time to time and you can get em even cheaper.
doitinthedirt
same class. that is our only concern. did not think about pawn shops . thanks

hcwsracing
I am posting this on behalf of I37 Raceway Yes Raceceiver scanners will work. Doug
Danielsen Motorsports
Any one way scanner will work. You just need the ability to plug in the frequency they are using and you listen to what they have to say. Thats it, doesnt matter what they are using. Hope that clears it up. Taz Racing
Radio Shack has the Race Scanners on clearance for 49.99. I'd call and make sure that they have one in stock before going. They are selling fast.
NickHolt
I went to the local Radio Shack a few minutes ago. They didn't have any of the "on sale" scanners, but they did try to sell me one for $199 plus $34.95 to learn how to program the darn thing and for a 2-year "service contract." Naw.. So I asked if any other Radio Shack in Bexar County had them and he said, "Nope." Didn't even look it up on the computer. Then I asked if any Radio Shack in Texas had any of the "on sale" scanners. He didn't even try to look it up because he knew everyone was out. Nick
HOTChassis
Ill be racing at 37 about once or twice a month in a SSM. If a pure stock or frontrunner would like to go half with me, id be more than willing to pay 50% even though i wont be there for 50% of the season. 713-409-7672 Brandon Blaylock
SassyCassie14
It was the Radio Shack on Austin Hwy. A few drivers went there and got the scanners on sale, including us. They were on clearance. They are probably out of them now.
