Quality Chevrolet-Dodge in Gonzales, Texas will present its first annual Car Show on Saturday, April 26th at the dealership on Hwy 90A Bypass in Gonzales, Texas. Check in time is 10:00 a.m. and judging of the cars will take place from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. During the same time period as the judging, there will be voting for the People's Choice Award. Trophies are scheduled to be presented at 3:00 pm and the show will close at 5:00 pm. "Come spend the day with us - a fun day for the entire family." said a representative of Quality Chevrolet-Dodge. Entry fee is $10.00 and all proceeds will benefit the petting zoo project for the Baptist Childrens Home Youth Ranch Campus. Besides the cars, there will be several vendors and food booths at the dealership. Vehicles can be entered in five classifications: Restored - back to show room condition; Original - untouched, driveable, any condition, any year; Wild - modified, racing, hot rod, souped up; Mild - unusual features, paint job, low rider, chopped top, hydrualics; Project - any project being worked on. Two trophies will be awarded in each of those five categories. In addition, a trophy will be presented to the winner of the People's Choice Award. All spectators will have the option of voting for their favorite car or truck to receive the People's Choice Award.
