racechick Posted November 14, 2005 Report Posted November 14, 2005 Goodness Josh what do you mean "that lady driver" all LADY drivers should be impressive! :-D Quote
Josh42 Posted November 14, 2005 Author Report Posted November 14, 2005 I will also say I have new found respect for what my father does. After being at the race track since 830 saturday morning with LS1 Tech Southwest Showdown, I helped push cars that broke or helped with cleanups, then was there for midnight madness that went from 830 pm to 2 am I started helpin dad mop and clean one of the lanes and it a very tediuos job. Constantly watching for water oil trans fluid anything that could make the racing hazardous. I know that swingin the mop for a little over 5 hours made my hands blister and my feet hurt for awhile I can only image how it feels after doin it for 18 hours. Quote
Josh42 Posted November 14, 2005 Author Report Posted November 14, 2005 Well that car Tiff ran low 8's at 160 mph and yes there are women out there that are impressive, I was saying after going through something like that and to come back and win is what was impressive. Quote
racechick Posted November 14, 2005 Report Posted November 14, 2005 uh huh uh huh cover yourself up now! lol j/k Surprised you got up to go to the track on Saturday morning!? Quote
Josh42 Posted November 14, 2005 Author Report Posted November 14, 2005 Ok reposted images so they are bigger that way you dont have to pull out the magnifying glass. Â And for anybody on here with an FBody they have an F-Body shootout coming up in a couple weeks at San Antonio Raceway. Quote

Josh42 Posted November 15, 2005 Author Report Posted November 15, 2005 yes sir, that be him.Notice I have my arms folded all relaxed, but when the second race started up at around 8:30pm that nite and the street cars were dripping ac water and blowing water out the tailpipes,he handed me a mop and said to take the left side and he would take the right,to keep the cars moving,he wore me out after 5 hrs Quote
Josh42 Posted November 17, 2005 Author Report Posted November 17, 2005 my dad also said if you want a 2nd groove at THR,let him know,he'll have it biting so hard it will break some rearends on those welded up gears in a heartbeat, and if they aint welded they will break some axles.Said it's his way of seeing who spent some money on the good parts.
