ron.brown11 Posted October 2, 2024 Report Posted October 2, 2024 A lawsuit has been filed by 23X1 & Front Row Motoersports, over anti-trust (monopoly) grounds. This is going to get interesting, quickly. The law firm that's handling the case for these 2 race teams, is the same group that successfully sued the NCAA, and got college athletes to start being paid. I think that it's called NIL payments. There was virtually nobody thinking that the NCAA would loose, until they did. NASCAR's model has always been a pay to play business model, and this probably won't bode well for the France family. It will be interesting to see who will blink first. The NASCAR family has deep pockets, but after this law group slayed the NCAA, they ain't exactly poor. Plus, no matter the outcome, this law firm will still get paid, lawyers always do. Quote
