So Pop Pop was really proud of his grandson. Tonight it was on full display, of why so many Saturday night racers think that it's ok to "Do what I had to" to win a race. Dillon has what, 5 wins in over a dozen seasons, and I think only one of them was without wrecking the leader on purpose to get it. Hey, that makes him 2 race wins better than Deegan, but her career hasn't been that long yet. The funny thing is, I recall Pop Pop punching out Kyle Busch a few years ago for doing the same thing. Things the make you go hum.

I wonder if Dillon has thought about that it won't just be Logano and Hamlin that are going to want to fence him? I'm betting that all 4 of the drivers that got jumped over in the points, by a guy that's struggled to finish in the top 25 all season, will be looking to take him out at some point in the first round of the playoffs. So at least 6 drivers are probably going to make his life miserable in the next few races. Who knows, maybe they'll take turns. One can only hope.

Here's the thing that I find the most disturbing about this. NASCAR will come up with some bullshit reason why this is ok. I wonder if they would have let this stand, if say Bubba Wallace was the one the got wrecked like that? Hey, Logano & Hamlin are no angels, that's for sure, and they've both done it. As I recall, Hamlin got fined a bunch of money, because he made comments about it on his podcast. Well, Dillon just did the same thing, but he did it standing on the front stretch, to everyone at the track, and the millions (lol) at home on tv.

Hopefully Hamlin didn't tear up his shoulder again.
