RodneyRodriguez
This is about to get interesting. Teams want more as they should. Sanctioning body low-balling. Non-fans of NASCAR may get their wish when they say, we will move on without you and fill the Cup races with those up-and-comers that can't get a chance now in a revamped series. rails
I am not sure it is going to change much from what the structure is now. I could be wrong, but I just don’t think the cup teams are negotiating from a strength standpoint. And the reason I say that is, they say they aren’t making any money, but just go take a look at the race shop Hamlin and his partners just built. Just not sure you need all of that to put fast cars on the track. And I don’t have any problem with the shop they built, just don’t tell me no one is making any money. 24nomo
Exactly. Let em Walk, there are people in line waiting to race. I am glad Tony Stewart is fed up with them and leaving. Edited June 13 by 24nomo
RodneyRodriguez
IndyCar hit a major home run. They are getting paid lots of money, every race will be on FREE TV with FOX and their schedule does not conflict with the NFL, MLB any of that other coverage. I've said it for 5 years now Dale Jr had the idea, that NASCAR needs its platform, channel all of that. They are that big. People bitch about charters but the teams seem to find them very important to being a business model. As usual, all of us on social media know more than those in the business. 24nomo
What I dont like about the charter deal is it keeps lesser funded teams out of the cup series. If it was all of that, Dale Jr would have owned one by now. However, the rich are fighting the rich, so let em fight. Just keep the sparks flying and have some fun. For what a charter costs, you could run a cup team for years
