After a heart pounding Indy 500 today, South Texas Race Ranch roars back to life with the Southern United Sprint series in town. Rod Craddock will try to carry some momentum from last night's victory at Texana Raceway Park and avenge an early exit last time he was here losing a motor on the first lap that led to Isiah Garcia's wild ride into the tire stack in turn 3. Also coming off a victory last night, Daniel Preston will try to keep his streak going in the Emods. Factory Stock, Pure Stock, Micro Mod, Limited Modified and Modified also on the bill.

Another winner from last night, Cody Beddoe will try to do it again in Limited Mod and he won the last time I was at the Ranch. Good field of cars hot lapping now as racing slated to start at 7. Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone and let us remember those that paid the ultimate sacrifice for us to live the way of life we're able too.

Nice touch by Owen and crew having every car on the track with a flag and getting a member of each branch of the military a flag for National Anthem, TAPS and a moment of silence. If you don't feel something hearing TAPS, you aren't breathing.
