NickHolt
Too far away from San Antonio to be of any real help. Did I read that there was a fatality at a drag boat competition somewhere in Texas recently?

I haven't heard/read anything lately....I know in 2015 Mike Fry was fatally injured at Lakefest during the races. Scotty Lumbert was seriously injured the following year....It's hard to believe it doesn't happen more frequently, but recreational boating accidents are more likely to fatally injure someone. I'll check with a couple people and see if I can add more. Quote Too far away from San Antonio to be of any real help. A mere hour and half ride in the countryside up 281. rebelracewriter
Ok, here's what I've found.....It was a Riverfest event at Port Neches in a "tunnel boat" race. A little different style boat and racing compared to drag boats. https://kfdm.com/news/local/fatal-boat-crash-at-port-neches-riverfest
