A pioneer for so many who have taken up a profession in Motorsports, Beverly stood at the side of her late husband, Lanny, as they built Lawton Speedway, Devil's Bowl Speedway and so many other dirt ovals across Texas and Oklahoma. She was there for the co-founding of the Chili Bowl Nationals and helped build a legacy that will forever be known and emulated. More than her accomplishments as a track owner and promoter, her life's greatest accomplishments are seen through the care and love of her family. That is, and will always be her greatest testament. Beverly was 83 years old at the time of her passing. We pray for the entire Edwards family, and indeed the community they help and are a part of.
