NickHolt
Sadly, Dwarf Car guru Arden Vikre passed away this afternoon, June 17, 2021. Arden won far more than his fair share of Dwarf Car races, but more importantly, he unselfishly gave away his unmatched knowledge and shared his hands-on mechanical abilities to untold number of fellow Dwarf Car teams. Arden and I had frequent discussions about racing suspension engineering and we enjoyed comparing notes and educating each other. Arden was a giving, caring man who will be sorely missed in the Texas Stock Car Racing community. Rest in Peace my Brother in Christ. Garfield
Arden was and will always be a friend, mentor and an inspiration to everyone that had the privilege to know him. His sincerity and commitment to others and to the sport will be with us forever. He truly was one of the good ones and the world is a little different this morning. Rest In Peace #72. RodneyRodriguez
One of the best people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Not only all that Nick mentioned but he would make his home yours, his tools yours, and anything else you may need. Such a great mind and a true gentleman and one hell of a race car driver. Arden made DCRST a powerhouse and the best show at a track most nights hands down. We are all broken-hearted at his loss but know he is in a much better place. We love you Papa Arden.
