Austin Wayne Self Pre-Race Quotes:

On Darlington Raceway: “I’m eager to get back to Darlington Raceway this weekend and propel our AM Racing team with a top-10 finish. I think our No. 22 GO TEXAN | AM Technical Solutions Chevrolet Silverado looks great with the Throwback scheme, I just hope we have a finish to go along with the excitement.  Darlington is definitely a tough track, but we are ready and determined to conquer the challenge.”

On Kansas Speedway: “Another solid finish for the AM Racing team at Kansas Speedway. I was hoping we could escape with a top-15 finish, but we came up a little short. Our No. 22 GO TEXAN | AM Technical Solutions Chevrolet wasn’t the best at the beginning of the race – but Ryan (Salomon, crew chief) did a great job with adjustments and by the end of the race, the truck was at its best.”

On Tony Raines Throwback Tribute: “Everyone at AM Racing did a great job keeping our Throwback scheme a secret from Tony, but I’m excited for him to spot a truck he had so much success in the Truck Series early in its heyday. It’s an awesome-looking truck and I appreciate everyone who worked so hard to make it a reality.”
