I know lots of rules require shut offs and most are oil pressure contolled.i heard this was a sliced line? I'd be curious to learn how this happened if true, or if it was simply a clamp left loose or something. either way not sure what can be done, I'm glad the driver was unharmed and luckily that one ended "ok" could have been really bad! also there was a comment that the race control was telling him to stop on his raceiever with no response from the driver. which brings up another issue,another racer and I had a conversation about tracks requiring raceievers and we hear in driver meetings they are mandatory. this is extremely hard to enforce and you always have 1 or 2 that are driving around under caution obviously with no raceiver or dead batteries! if this driver had a working raceiver they could of had him stopped probably 5-10 seconds earlier which could be a matter of life or serious injury. just my 2 cents , but probably more questions than answers Edited March 1, 2021 by cperry115 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
