San Antonio, TX (June 3, 2005) – The United States Racing Association (USRA) and San Antonio Speedway are encouraging all fans to wear their favorite driver’s clothing to the races this Saturday evening (June 4) for the Twin 50’s and Texas All Star Summer Shootout. Maverick Video will be shooting commercials during the races. Fans are invited to show their support of their favorite driver, either on a local or national level. The fans that make the biggest impression on the photographers may have the opportunity to be part of the commercials that will be used to promote upcoming racing events for USRA and San Antonio Speedway. “We have great fans here at San Antonio Speedway,” stated Terry Dickerson, President of USRA. “We want all of our fans to show their support for their favorite driver. We want to put only the most enthusiastic and race savvy fans on our commercial.” The Twin 50’s and Texas All Star Summer Showdown will take place at San Antonio Speedway this Saturday (June 4), starting at 6:30 p.m. The racing action will feature the Texas Super Racing Series and the San Antonio Speedway NASCAR Late Models, along with the NASCAR Sportsman, Road Runners, and Women on Wheels Divisions. San Antonio Speedway is a half-mile NASCAR-sanctioned oval asphalt track that is located at 14901 State Highway 16 South (Poteet Highway), about 3.5 miles south (outside) of Loop 410. The speedway can be accessed easily by taking IH 35 South and exiting on Highway 16 South (left exit), just past South Park Mall.
