tqj3 Posted May 17, 2005 Report Share Posted May 17, 2005 Release: May 15, 2005 Taylor's Tschoerner Misses Heat Race for Biology Final, TBS Racing Still Dominates Hobby Stock Class at Thunder Hill Kyle – Tracy Tschoerner's biology final at the University of Texas on Saturday night kept her from running her heat race, but she made it to Thunder Hill Raceway barely in time to saddle up for the Hobby Stock feature. Starting last on the field the freshman from Taylor moved to nearly midpack before being involved in someone else's accident and having to go to the back again. She once more stormed toward the front, making it all the way to fourth place before the checkered flag fell. Tracy lost a little ground in the points and is now fourth, 25 points behind the leader, Gary Chancellor; or about the number of points she missed by missing the heat race. Her uncle Joey Tschoerner is second, only nine points behind. Kevin Bowen, who sports the #2 on his car after finishing second in points last year, is closing fast and is now in fifth after two wins. So far, Tracy and her TBS Racing teammates have dominated the Hobby Stocks this season, winning all six heat races and all three feature races. Kevin Bowen of Taylor got his second feature win in a row after winning his heat race easily, but uncle Joey Tschoerner had to fight to win the second heat race and would go on to finish sixth in the feature. ### T.
