USRA33 Posted May 12, 2005 Report Posted May 12, 2005 (edited) Hey guy's, I'm sure everyone has heard about the speed51.com short track draft. A few Texans have been nominated, and I would appreciate it if you could show everyone in the nation how big Texas racing really is, and not just talk about it. If you could vote asap that would be great. We don't want people from the Southeast to show us up do ya??? lol Thanks guys http://speed51.com/poll.html Robert Richardson Edited May 12, 2005 by USRA33 Quote
tqj3 Posted May 12, 2005 Report Posted May 12, 2005 Robert's right, we need to get behind our guys, Casey and Robert. I just voted on the site, and it looks as if the East Coast is stacking the deck just because more of them have voted. Don't know if there is a way to vote more than once, but if there is, the southeast bunch will know about it, and one of our own computer gurus (Jason?) will figure it out as well. Robert, good luck this weekend. Quote
USRA33 Posted May 12, 2005 Author Report Posted May 12, 2005 I'm not sure you can vote more than once, they have a system that allows a certain computer to vote only once. But......JASON might have a solution....... tqj3-thanks for the reply, and the good luck. I'll need it. Quote

racegirl3320 Posted May 16, 2005 Report Posted May 16, 2005 hey guys keep the votes rolling in the draft isnt over and every vote counts thank you for all the votes and support Quote
Jason Posted May 16, 2005 Report Posted May 16, 2005 I don't get how a driver (Josh Hamner) who has only run a few Super Late Model races and hasn't really won anything can make the "short track draft". AND HE IS LEADING THE POLL! Their "draft" is a joke. I'll send them a couple thousand dollar check and see if they will put my name up there. Quote
USRA33 Posted May 16, 2005 Author Report Posted May 16, 2005 Hey guys, I agree with Jason. This Draft thing has got outta hand. I left for kentucky and had 80 or so votes, now I have obviously too many, Hamner too. I don't think Josh has controll on how many votes he has, but then again, who knows. Computer polls are over rated anyway. Kentucky went good for us. Qualified 10th, finished 13th. Not too bad considering the overall weekend. Hope everyone had a great weekend as well. Congratulations to Cory Roper on his win in Corpus this weekend. Quote
ProTree Posted May 16, 2005 Report Posted May 16, 2005 i think its everybody they(speed51) represents Bandit-kinda what it looks like Quote
REBELRACER Posted May 17, 2005 Report Posted May 17, 2005 whats the deal...........the first of this thread was started begging for us to vote, now we vote and you say it is meaningless............wtf.......is it all politics or is it because the other guy is ahead? what does the winner get out of it............ Quote
racegirl3320 Posted May 17, 2005 Report Posted May 17, 2005 First of all we weren't begging for votes we just asked for texas to stand behind the drivers that represent texas outside of the usra and texas local stuff. I didnt think it would become such a big deal. Rebel racer you make it seem like taking 2 seconds out of your day to vote for a fellow texas driver making a name for him self is a hard thing to do. It shouldnt matter what the winner get it is the fact that it shows the great support one has for there fellow drivers so the greatest gift is knowing that people stand behind you and believe you can make it in this world of racing Quote
