Chuck Licata will be the guest announcer for Texas Asphalt Modified Series 50-lapper at Thunder Hill Raceway this Saturday.

Chuck did the announcing for the TAMS race at San Antonio Speedway last week and did a fine job.

"Chuck is a very good announcer and we're fortunate that he didn't have anything planned for this Saturday," said Wayne Norrell, founder and race director for the fast-growing series. "We're hoping we can work something out for the remainder of the season, but we know Chuck has a lot of projects on the burner right now."

"TAMS is really a well-run outfit and it's always a pleasure to work with Wayne Norrell and Nick Holt," Licata said in agreeing to take on the THR event. "I really think the TAMS series has a great future."

More than 20 of the low-slung, track-hugging modifieds are expected to take the green flag at the 3/8th-mile THR speedplant this Saturday evening.

What will chuck do? Well since Sarge stays in the office area to do his announcing I bet chuck will take the for sure road up the ladder to the flag stand so sarge dont worry about the foot powder I think you will be safe.
