poorboy
If there is a regular car that uses the infeild for passing just let it go, then after the checkered flag dock him the positions that he gained in the dirt. By the way, there is a claim rule in this class use it if that is what will equal competition.
REBELRACER
why are the same 3 or 4 people up front every week..........are they that much better or did they do their homework and work to make their cars better.......the invert seems like a good idea to keep the shows from being boring, like it was said already, the fast cars will make it to the front, they will just have to work for it a little bit......... top_shelf_12
Those top three or four is a product of both. They seem to have more resources available than the other guys (although they all seem to be willing to help out as much as they can) and they are generally a lot more experienced. GB has been driving four cylinders for probably thirty years now, he just simply knows how to make his cars work here and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that, but as dominate as he is, he still hasn't won a championship here at least not in the past two seasons, so he can be beat. As for the claim rule, I think it's kinda unspoken in that class not to claim someone else's car, plus most of those guys probably can't afford to make the claim and lose. There's nothing wrong with what those four or so top drivers are doing, it's just very noticeable that these four or so guys are so much faster than the other guys and that gap really isn't present in the other classes. In time, the other guys will eventually catch up and this class really isn't that bad, just split into two groups most of the time.
REBELRACER
so the guys running up front are doing so because they have more experience or more money in their car??.........the texas thunders are basically an entry level class, arent they or am i thinking of another class...........if they are an entry level class maybe the guys running in the second group just dont want to sink more money in their car, because they are just there to have fun or maybe do something as a family and dont really care about winning.........you never know when the "fast" group might run over each other and allow the "slow" group to steal a win........jmo
slysnake
you never know when the "fast" group might run over each other and allow the "slow" group to steal a win........jmo let 'em eat each other up...the rest are just hovering like vultures...
