Coble Takes HOT Win

 

 

 

ELM MOTT—Elm Mott’s Gordon Coble, grandson of Waco racing legend Gordon Woolley, continued a winning family tradition with a victory in the cruiser feature Friday night at the Heart O’ Texas Speedway. Kenneth Dean, also from Elm Mott, nosed out Michael Guenat from Robinson for second place.

 

 

 

P.J. Egbert from Copperas Cove made it two in a row, despite losing an engine in a post race claim last week, with another win in the I.M.C.A. modified feature. Michael Thompson from Waco and Keith Green from Robinson were second and third.

 

 

 

Keith White from Academy returned to victory lane by using the top of the race track to pass the field in the I.M.C.A SportMod feature. Chris McDonald from Montgomery took second and Roy Ewing from Moody was third.

 

 

 

B.J. Dulock from Robinson won the I-stock feature followed by Mark Geurin from Whitney and Jason Honey from Waco.

 

 

 

Young Dillon Smith from Waco added another I.M.C.A. hobby stock feature win to his record. Charles Cosper from Belton ran second and Brandon Goodnight from Mart was third.

 

 

 

Greg Andrews scored a street stock feature win by reaching the finish line ahead of fellow Wacoan Ed Thompson and Charlie Goodnight from Mart.

 

 

 

Timmy Kemp from Bellmead topped the pure stock field while Logan Saulters from Bellmead claimed second and O.N. Harcrow from West finished third.

 

 

 

Chandler Simons from Robinson, Colton Monroe from Copperas Cove, and Zach Henson from Waco took the top three positions in the junior mini stock feature.

 

 

 

A practice session is scheduled from Tuesday night, May 3, and 6:00 P.M. Racing action continues next Friday with a regular point night for all classes. Gates open at 6:00 P.M. and races begin at 8:00 P.M. Check our website at www.heartotexspeedway.com for more information.
