28 TPS cars at Thunder Hill Raceway for May 7 rain date

Kyle, Texas

The Texas Pro Sedans will try to hold the second 2005 event in their 30th consecutive racing season at Thunder Hill Raceway in Kyle, Texas on Saturday night May 7th.

The event will be the first of eight TPS series races hosted by Thunder Hill Raceway during the 2005 racing season.

The Texas Pro Sedans racing format will consist of 2, 8 lap Qualifying Heat Races at approximately 7:00pm followed by a 20 Lap Feature Race for the four cylinder Texas Pro Sedan series stock cars.

A field of 28 drivers had filed entry for the race originally scheduled for April 30. That date was called off by THR Officials who cited “a muddy infield and forecasted cold temperatures”. Seems like we have a good car count battle between the TPS series and the USRA Truck Series. Is there any chance their schedules cross at one of the tracks this year? That would be tough on the space problems in the pit area.lol

Turbo-Diesel In answer to your question

The USRA Allstar Truck Series and the Texas Pro Sedans are both scheduled on the same race program only once this season:

September 24th - 9th Annual Thunder Hill Raceway "Stock Car Spectacular".

Thanks for your interest and support of the TPS series.
