TRACK ANNOUNCER Posted May 4, 2005 Report Share Posted May 4, 2005 Kennedale Motor Speedway completed it's first weekend under the new management. 106 race teams came to KMS to compete on the black gumbo 1/4 mile surface. A decent car count but the fan count was not up to normal standards. It is much easier to reach race teams than it is to reach race fans as no email or postal mailing address data bank is available to make announcement, etc. The modified feature went green to checkers and was over in a flash. Denny Stewart won the main event in modifieds. Next week, the modified feature winner will collect $1,000.00 to win the feature event. Through the entire month of May. KMS will be paying $1,000.00 to win the modified feature. The competition will be even more stout than ever as this track has NEVER had a driver win three modified feature wins in a row in the tracks history. ( 5 drivers have managed to win 2 in a row. ) Go to www.kennedalemotorspeedway.com to get additional news and information about the Dallas / Ft.
