PAPA Posted April 16, 2005 Report Posted April 16, 2005 I would like to take this time to recognize a couple people in our racing community for their hard work and dedication to our sport. Scott and Donna Kneupper. They are devoted to our sport in many many ways. They are at the track (SAS) every race night with the Michael Lampton #32 Ford Tarus LM. That’s not all they do. Scott and Donna give of their time and money to bring the #32 to the many car shows and charity functions throughout the year. Scott even takes time off from work to do this. They do this because of their love for the sport. And they love to show the car to the children. They have Hearts of Gold. Many of you know them personally and know what I’m talking about. Next time you are at the races or a car show, stop by and shake their hand and thank them for what they do for our sport. They truly are wonderful people and I feel blessed to have met them and to call them my friends. Gerald (PAPA) Fischer Quote
debwill Posted April 17, 2005 Report Posted April 17, 2005 I'd also like to add my appreciation to Scott & Donna. So far this year, they have participated in seven car shows! And as Gerald stated, they are great with the kids. Best of all, they are dependable. Whenever they commit to showing the car, they always show up . . . usually earlier than requested. It makes my job much easier to have such a dedicated crew. I think FASCAR has come up with award that will recognize these types of efforts, and I will be nominating the Lampton pit crew for the award at this week's meeting. Quote
