rebelracewriter
LOL, Well Turbo it's tough to say, but I'd guess around 60 nights of racing, give or take. Full recaps are now up on the front page.
Definitive
Cool, sounds like the job for me. The price of gas must be killing you,or do you get reimbursed?
rebelracewriter
turbo, with the exception of USRA, no I don't get reimbursed, but I'm working on a few deals. I do get several perks though, like TMS credentials, IHRA Credentials, race in specialty races, media shows and some people are crazy.......er.....nice enough to let me occasionaly drive their cars as a promotional deal for them. It really wasn't too bad until this year when gas prices hit the roof!
Definitive
How did you get in this position? Were you writing for a racing rag ever or did you just have friends?
rebelracewriter
turbo, it all started way back when I got a police escort out of Longhorn Speedway! True story! Wrote an editorial for, at the time Tex-US Racing News, which became Rat Traxx. And the rest, as they say, is history.
Definitive
Ummm...I know I'm bugging now but...why the police escort?
