41 Years of Texas Pro Sedans Champions

The Texas Pro Sedans Series completed its 41st consecutive year of racing during the 2016 season.

Over the past forty one years, the 4-cylinder stock car series has conducted more than 500 racing events at ovals and road racing courses across Texas, Oklahoma and Mexico. The Texas Pro Sedans is the oldest touring series organization in Texas.

During the 2016 season, the TPS series contested seven racing events which were all held at Central Texas Speedway in Kyle, Texas.

The 42nd consecutive TPS season during 2017 anticipated 7 to 9 races at Central Texas Speedway, but the anticipated management change didn't happen and CTS got plowed under.

The Texas Pro Sedans no longer had any operating track to race on. The 2017 season was suspended, dues were refunded to all members and TPS is unable to operate after 41 good years. More than 500 successful races were conducted all over the Texas, Oklahoma and in Mexico.

TPS has a lot of new drivers who haven't had the chance to learn what they need to compete with the big boys yet . that isn't a knock down .I have been impressed with so many new and some old drivers from v8 racing mods trucks and so forth joining tps and finding it isn't as easy as it looks and learning and finding out these cars are for real .they are not easy to drive with the speed they run lap after lap always on the edge and you have to be on your a game to win a race .anyone who I say steps up not a step down from a v8 to a tps car will get a big surprise ..just ask bobby he has run very well in that bmw but still has a few things to learn and hope he and the other new teams will have the chance as all the others to race a 40 second season . the new drivers will get to the front soon enough and that will make show much better for the series ...........

Let's all hope for new seasons. I only ran a handful of races in the series but I thought I found a home. You are right HiTech. We have some great guys running. Always wanted to race in the series since I saw it at longhorn back in the 80s. Finally got the chance.
