The website says that the gates open at 9 am, (most likely a stupid question but....) how bad is the line at about that time? I'll be leaving Corpus either Friday night or early Sat. morning, but I don't know which just yet. Any suggestions? We did manage to get hotel reservations, but it wasn't cheap!! Smokin', If you wait til 9, then you'll be in line for about 45 minutes trying to get in-to the track.. I'd suggest you get to the track by 8-ish, no later, on Saturday morning if you're like me and HATE to sit in a car...when you could just park the car on the road and WALK to the track! Bobby has internet via cellular and they have a digital camera, so we should expect updates from them throughout the weekend. If not, we know they are passed out over at the campground. Hopefully we will get more than just pictures of them with Miller Lite girls. Jay Hallas will be there and Chuck will be doing his show live from the track.
