RPR Releases Race Schedule, 30th Anniversary NHRA SpringNationals Highlights 2017 Season

 

Baytown, TX- Royal Purple Raceway, Southeast Texas largest multi-purpose motorsports facility, announced its calendar of race events for the 2017 season. The schedule is highlighted by the 30th Anniversary NHRA SpringNationals, April 21-April 23. NHRA event tickets are already on sale by clicking to www.RaceRPR.com.

 

The NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series South Central Division will kick off its 2017 season with the NHRA Texas Sportsman Challenge, March 24-26. Over 500 sportsman competitors from across Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma will call Royal Purple Raceway home for three action packed days of NHRA Championship Drag Racing!

 

In 2017, the Bayshore Dodge RAM Jeep Chrysler dealership group returns as the title sponsor for the popular all 1/8th mile E.T. Bracket Racing Series. This is the training ground where local area racers can duel it out in a 14 race dash for the year-end track championship. The opening weekend kicks off March 4-5 and continues March 11-12, April 8-9, May 6-7, June 3, July 8, August 5-6, and concludes with the Series Finals August 19-20.

 

In addition, the schedule also features two Import Face Off events February 19 and September 24, TX2K17 Roll & Drag Race Nationals, March 16-19, Houston Performance Truck Shootout, April 1, ADRL Dragpalooza, May 19-20, Lone Star Resurrection 2.0 No Prep Series, October 7, and October Truck Madness, October 28.

 

Royal Purple Raceway’s Drag Strip is open every Friday night beginning January 6th for Legal Street Racing. Anyone with a driver’s license and a street legal car or certified race vehicle can make unlimited passes down the fastest quarter-mile drag strip for just $20.
